Targeted programs delivered the Real Futures way

Real Futures’ unique approach to employment services has changed the lives of thousands of Aboriginal people, their families and their communities – their Mob.

Real Futures is the only Indigenous employment services provider in Australia to deliver, on behalf of the Australian Government:

We also work closely with UN Women and supporting partner BHP Foundation to deliver the Women’s Business Second Chance Hub in Western Sydney, Kempsey New South Wales and Carnarvon Western Australia.

Real Futures Community Development Program (CDP)

Real Futures provides services through the Community Development Program (CDP) in Western Australia’s Gascoyne region. The program is designed to meet the unique needs of remote communities, where finding a job is very different from finding a job in a major city or regional area.

Women’s Business Second Chance Hub

The Women’s Business Second Chance (WBSC) Hub is a ground-breaking program designed to ensure that women at risk of being left behind have access to quality learning, entrepreneurship, and employment outcomes through education and vocational training.

Momentum Program

Momentum helps Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in North Eastern NSW to overcome common obstacles to securing employment.

Post-placement support

Real Futures has developed a unique external support service to support Aboriginal people and people with a disability to maintain constant attendance at work and overcome barriers that impact on their ability to do their job. From our Reach Out Officers (ROOs), who provide a holistic approach to common problems that occur off the job, to regular contact with aspirants and employers once a job seeker has been placed, we go the extra step to ensure successful outcomes for all.

Social and economic impact analyses

A Social and Economic Impact Analysis can help an employer demonstrate the outcomes of positive actions towards ending disparity. We can help gather data and compile an effective report.

Pre-employment and vocational training

Real Futures organises training based on the needs of the employer and the aspiring job seeker so that it is industry, job and culturally specific. Training can involve full qualifications, clusters of units, recognition of prior learning or traineeships, and can be delivered by the employer’s preferred registered training organisation or sourced through an RTO identified as appropriate by Real Futures.

Workshirts with a difference

Our Real Futures workshirts are made in the colours of the Indigenous flag, and meet all the necessary regulations for high-vis work wear. They are available in all regular sizes for both women and men. To be worn with pride!
