After attending one of our Mob Days, Vicki is now one of 351 job seekers we have placed into employment in the past 12 months.
Real Futures’ Mob Days are opportunities to meet employers and colleagues in a relaxed and welcoming environment, and find out about career opportunities and job vacancies in the area.
Vicki, a mum of four, had previously worked in accounting and bookkeeping so she appreciated the help from Real Futures to prepare her for a job in aged care. She is now employed as an Aboriginal Care Worker and looks after Elders in the community. After overcoming many obstacles to achieve this goal, Vicki says:
“My life time goal is to be in a stable job and own a house.”
