Transition to Work Program

Over 45 Geraldton Youth Get Their License with our Transition to Work Program

TtW License

Every month, Real Futures Geraldton host the Department of Transport WA in our offices to conduct license assessments for our Transition to Work (TtW) Aspirants.

This year, we’re proud to have helped over 45 young people obtain their licenses and start their journey to learn how to drive!

In October alone, we had 5 people achieve their car L Plates and 1 obtain their Moped license.

Having a driver’s license is another step towards independence and employment. To be eligible for our licensing support, TtW Aspirants must be actively participating activities, training or looking for employment with Real Futures.

Transition to Work Program

Transition to Work is a program that helps young people aged 15-24 into employment, apprenticeships, training or education.

All of our TtW Aspirants receive tailored pre-employment support to develop practical skills to get into the workforce, enrol education or training, find local job opportunities, and connect with local community services.

Real Futures delivers Transition to Work in Geraldton and you can find out more about the program here
