Young People (Under 25)
What is Transition to Work?
The Transition to Work employment service helps young people aged 15-24 into work (including apprenticeships and training) or education.
Transition to Work participants receive intensive, pre-employment support to develop practical skills to get a job, connect with education or training, find local job opportunities, and connect with relevant local community services.

Are you aged 15 to 24 and want skills and support to get a job or further education? If so, Real Futures is committed to help you reach your potential by helping you into a job or education. We have designed a Transition to Work (TtW) service that enables you to control your job or education pathway.
Our Annual Youth Summit
Real Futures is committed to young people having a voice in their future and we want your views. We organise a Youth Summit where young people, educators, employers, Traditional Owners, Indigenous and government all meet to create better local job and education pathways. We encourage TtW participants to be involved. Just tell your Youth Mentor you are interested in attending.
Our Youth Advisory Forum
Real Futures wants to respond quickly to emerging events, so we arrange Youth Advisory Forums on a monthly basis which includes TtW participants, Traditional Owners, Indigenous & community, youth organisations, government and support services. These monthly meetings review and improve our local strategies, connections & service operations.
