Real Futures are delighted to announce we will be supporting parents across NSW and WA through the new Parent Pathways program!
Starting 1st November, Parent Pathways is a free service offering personalised coaching and financial support to eligible parents and carers of children up to the age of 6 years.
It is centered around the individual needs of parents, carers and their families.
Our mentors will help parents to set and achieve their personal, study and work goals through a tailored Goal Plan.
Mentoring sessions can be attended in person, over the phone or online. If you do attend in person, children are always welcome!
Where will we deliver Parent Pathways?
We will have family-friendly offices and Parent Pathway mentors in the following locations:
- Rooty Hill
- Mt Druitt
- Blacktown
- Lismore
- Grafton
- Ballina
- Kempsey
- Coffs Harbour
- Taree
- Geraldton (Western Australia)
We will also have weekly outreach services in:
- Windsor
- Murwillimbah
- Cabbage Tree Island
- Forster
- Port Macquarie
- Woolgoolga
- Nambucca Heads
Who is eligible?
- Parent Pathways is for parents and carers with a child aged under 6, are not in paid employment, and live in an area where there is a Parent Pathways provider.
- They must also be receiving either a Parenting Payment, Carer Payment or Special Benefit.
- Eligibility includes those who are not getting a Centrelink payment, and are either are under 22 years old, an early school leaver (don’t have a year 12 qualification) or are a First Nations parent or carer.
