Terrance with Transition to Work Manager Kristy Sinclair

Our partnerships with employers and industry organisations help create pathways that our customers may not have known about — or been able to access — on their own.

For Terrance, that pathway began at an information session we hosted with the Australian Defence Force for our Transition to Work participants.

The session opened his eyes to what could be possible for his future.

Since then, Terrance has progressed through the ADF intake stages, completed a week of assessments, and recently graduated as a Regional Force Surveillance Unit Combat Support Operator with the Australian Defence Force.

Our Geraldton team in WA supported Terrance by:

  • helping him get his ID documentation verified
  • arranging travel to Perth so he could complete his assessments
  • providing encouragement and practical support throughout the process

Terrance is now enlisted with the Pilbara Regiment and is looking forward to his next training session in June.

This story is another example of how our strong partnerships make an impact on the community we serve. We help connect young people like Terrance with the right opportunities and support, so that they can discover new pathways, build confidence, and take meaningful steps towards their future.
