Our background in working with people who have faced disadvantage and discrimination has broken down many barriers for our job seekers and we bring this experience to those people who live with a disability or inability.

Our Employment Development Specialists know how to help you get ready for the world of work. We will update your resume, find suitable training that suits you and the job, buy some of the things you need to get started like work clothes and support you when you start work. We can help you to balance family and work demands and how to start managing a budget to save that hard earned wage. Real Futures wants you to have the confidence you need to start work and support you to achieve your career and life plans.

Real Futures has a highly successful record of job preparation, placement and retention. Our Pathways to Pilbara (now Real Futures) is recognized as one of the top five Aboriginal employment programs in Australia. We are a high achieving National Vocational Training and Employment Centre with many National employer partners. We bring our skills, our connections and knowledge to also be a top performer for people who seek our Disability Employment Services.

Our focus is on sustained employment where our aspirants can enter the workforce to develop skills and earn money that will contribute individuals and their families who may have otherwise been deemed unemployable due to a disability.

We are a progressive Aboriginal company that has thrived since its inception as Pathways to Pilbara, transforming into Real Futures becoming one of the Country’s most successful Aboriginal capacity building service providers. Real Futures delivers VTEC contracts in New South Wales, Northern Territory and Western Australia connecting Aboriginal job seekers with some of the country’s largest employers.

We offer Disability Employment Services from Coffs Harbour to Dorrigo, Kempsey to Nambucca Heads and Geraldton through to the Gascoyne. We employ and skill our expert staff to deliver quality services in all of our locations. Our staff are genuinely connected to the Country and communities where they work.

About Disability Employment Services

Disability Employment Services providers like Real Futures help people with disability find work and keep a job.

Through our services, people with disability, injury or health condition can receive assistance to prepare for, find and keep a job.

Disability Employment Services has two parts:

  1. Disability Management Service is for job seekers with disability, injury or health condition who need assistance to find a job and occasional support in the workplace to keep a job.
  2. Employment Support Service provides assistance to job seekers with permanent disability to find a job and who need regular, ongoing support in the workplace to keep a job.
