We can also help if you are going forward with an employer and need onboarding checks like police checks, Working with Children Check or medicals to be completed.

Real Futures an employment service that works alongside Workforce Australia providers to help First Nations people find suitable employment. Our service is voluntary, and we base our engagement around your skills and barriers to help you find employment. You still need to work with your current provider around your job searching obligations.
First Nations people seeking work connect with us voluntarily (with no mutual obligations), and we help them get ready to move into employment and the industry they are looking to work in.
We do not offer financial incentives such as wage subsidies to employers but where job seekers have incentives available through programs such as Workforce Australia or ParentsNext we can connect you with their providers.
However, incentives are available for our job seekers registered for Disability Employment Services (DES). Our experienced staff can help your business access these subsidies – worth up to $10,000 each. We will advise you about eligibility, and help you get funding for every eligible job seeker.
Our Reach Out Offers (ROOs) are community leaders or Elders who offer cultural mentoring and support for 26 weeks after a new employee starts work. Our ROOs contact the employee regularly and assist with any problems or concerns. The aim is to ensure the employee continues to go to work, and is not disadvantaged.
Our mentoring service is available 24/7. We have local staff on the ground, ready to deal with any issues that may arise.
Our ROOs, along with our Employment Development Specialist, are also there to support the employer with any workplace issues and concerns.
Yes, exploring the best options for upskilling our aspirants is part of all our programs.
We cover Greater Sydney (St Marys, Rooty Hill), the Hunter region (Newcastle), Mid North Coast (Coffs Harbour, Kempsey), WA (Geraldton, Carnavon, Denham, Exmouth).
Real Futures can find suitable staff to meet your recruitment needs from our databases of aspiring job seekers. We specialise in employment services for First Nations Australians and people living with disability. We can promote your vacancies, screen, and source candidates, we can arrange interviews and assist with any onboarding requirement.
For our First Nations services, we are the bridge to your local Indigenous community and have connections with local Mob.
There is no fee to use our services.
Real Futures can help you with advice around traineeships and apprenticeships. We have the networks in place and can ensure you are supported when putting on a trainee and/or an apprentice.
Real Futures can tailor pre-employment programs that are suited to your onboarding and training requirements, and assist with mass recruitment
Real Futures also runs training in cultural competence and safety.
