We will give you all the initial support you need to feel ready for work. We’ll take the time to get to know you, understand your interest, skills and abilities and together, come up with a plan to set you on a path towards the right job.

Our team will make sure your transition to ongoing employment is as stress-free as possible.

We go the extra mile to support you and your employer. This includes ongoing mentoring, potential workplace modifications and cultural guidance so you have the best chance of success.

We are an Inclusive Employment Australia Specialist Indigenous Provider

Inclusive Employment Australia (previously Disability Employment Services) is a Federal Government program aimed at creating a more inclusive future where people with disability, an injury or a health condition can get support to prepare for, find and maintain work, and grow their career.
Real Futures has been providing disability employment services since 2018 and are proud to have successfully helped people into fulfilling, sustainable jobs across many business sectors.
In November 2025, we will become a Specialist Indigenous Provider, which means that we deliver Inclusive Employment Australia services to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people living with a disability, injury or health condition.
We are the largest Indigenous owned and managed employment provider that delivers the Inclusive Employment Australia program.
You’ll feel at home in our offices, there’s always an Indigenous staff member to speak to, and we connect culture and Country to your aspirations.
Our local teams create deep connections to First Nations Elders and organisations in the communities where we work so we can provide the services and support they need.

ELIGIBILITY

Living with disability, injury or health condition
Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander 
Ready and able to work
Live in one of the employment regions where we operate (see Locations) 
At least 14 years old but younger than Age Pension age
An Australian resident, or have an eligible visa
Getting a Centrelink allowance
Provide post-placement support
Getting support from National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

We support employers to hire and retain diverse staff

Our expert team can provide guidance to employers on inclusive employment recruitment and workplace practices.

Be matched with the right employee for your role
Get advice on creating a supportive workplace environment for First Nations employees with a disability, illness or injury
Access Employment Assistance Funding for workplace modifications
Get cultural training and guidance to support First Nations employees
Gain career mentoring and skills development for your new staff 

Employers may also be eligible for the Inclusive Employment Australia wage subsidy program. This will provide up to $10,000 per eligible employee who are supported to achieve sustainable employment.
