Neichole is a proud Aboriginal woman, who lives in Kempsey. She is a mother to four children and has recently overcome barriers to be successfully employed with help from Real Futures.
Neichole has always been involved in volunteering at the local school, she works in the canteen and fundraising for the local soccer clubs.
The job search has been a struggle, so Neichole decided to reach out to Real Futures for support. Neichole was submitted to multiple vacancies but due to COVID and the requirements for the positions, Neichole was unsuccessful.
Real Futures and Neichole never gave up on the job hunt.
Neichole was given an opportunity to do a job trial at a local petrol station.
This job trial was successful and Neichole commenced employment in November 2021 as a customer service operator doing 15hrs per week.
Since Neichole has commenced employment, she has worked hard and proved herself to the employer, she is now working 27hrs per week and really enjoying it.
