Are you interested in becoming a driving instructor?
We are seeking expressions of interest for a 10-day Driver Instruction Training in Carnarvon. The training is run by the Driving Access and Equity Program who will cover your training costs, accommodation and food.
The Driving Access and Equity Program will be holding the Driving Instruction Training (for C class car instructors), in two regional locations: Carnarvon and Kalgoorlie.
🔸 Spots are limited to 8-12 people per location.
🔸 Carnarvon training dates are 31 July to 11 August 2023
The training will be delivered by a training organisation, the provider will deliver in-person theoretical and practical components of driving instructor training, including provision of:
- Theoretical (road rules) training in person in small groups (up to 10 people);
- Practical (on road) training on how to provide driving instruction.
The Driving Instruction Training will not provide participants with a nationally recognised qualification, but can be used as ‘recognised prior learning’ towards a qualification if wanted.
Participants will receive a Certificate of Achievement. Department of Transport Assessors will attend the training to deliver the theoretical and practical driving assessments required to become a Driving Instructor.
The Driving Access and Equity Program will cover the participants accommodation and meal costs.
Depending on the location of the venue (to be confirmed), transportation could be arranged from the accommodation to the training venue.
Breakfast, lunch and morning or afternoon tea  will be organised for each of the training days. Participants will need to arrange for their own incidentals and evening meals.
