Ronald Celebrates Starting His Electrical Apprenticeship in Geraldton

Ronald is a wonderful young Indigenous man who is celebrating the start of his electrical career as a full-time Electrical Apprentice with Kempton Electrical Geraldton!

He joined our Transition to Work program in Geraldton straight after he completed Year 12 at Geraldton Senior College.

Our Transition to Work team has supported Ronald in all stages of preparing for this apprenticeship, including mentoring, gaining identification, assisting with transport and supplying PPE.

We also engaged with local employers and negotiated employment placements for valuable work experience.

To gain these placements and his apprenticeship, our Employment Development Specialists helped Ronald with creating a standout resume and role applications.

Our Transition to Work Manager Vanessa also took Ronald through his induction to make sure he felt confident starting his new role.

The team is super proud of Ronald and all his efforts. We know he’s going to thrive in his apprenticeship and be a fully qualified electrician before he knows it!

Congratulations Ronald.
