On Thursday 20th February, Real Futures hosted our final Tiddas in Construction graduation.
We celebrated 10 local ladies from the Coffs Harbour Region who were presented with awards for obtaining the following tickets over the 2-week program.
- White Card
- Working at Heights
- Working in Confined Spaces
- Traffic Control Tickets
- Tool Recognition
The dedication this group has shown to attend each day and complete all their tickets was inspiring to see.
Some ladies travelled from neighbouring towns to be part of this program which highlights just how determined they were to gain these qualifications.
Some days were very intense with the ladies learning from scratch about working in the construction industry. It was great to see the women more experienced share their knowledge with the group.
Everyone really enjoyed the practical days and getting to put their theory into action. We all were able to have fun and a laugh together while doing it!
After a full-on 2 weeks, it was beautiful to see the bonds formed and the patience and support the women have shown each other.
