Real Futures has changed the lives of thousands of people, their families and their communities by doing things differently.
We are deeply embedded in the communities where we work, and we create new opportunities in partnership with others every day.  

It all starts with a yarn.  

We get to know your needs and aspirations, so we can help you move forward at your own pace. 

We can help you with:

One-on-one mentoring and career coaching 

Enrolment in training, certifications or other education

Work experience or school traineeships

Resume, job application and interview preparation

Connection to local employers

Supplying work essentials such as workwear, food vouchers or phone credit

Job specific mentoring once you’re in your new role

Gaining birth certificates and I.Ds

Driver’s license applications and testing

Wellbeing and Cultural support

Referrals to local social services

Connection to local groups and events

We walk on your journey together, at your pace.

We start with a yarn about where you’re at right now and what your future goals are. If you need extra support for your growth and wellbeing, we’ll refer you to local services.

If you need extra skills to go for your dream role, we can enrol you in short courses, certifications, traineeships or other education paths.

Once you’re job ready, we’ll help you to create a professional resume and cover letters which showcase your skills and experience. We can also assist with filling in job applications online.

In addition, we have connections with local employers and will recommend you to available roles that are the right match.

You got the job! Our support doesn’t stop there.

We’ll make sure you’re feeling confident for your first day and have all the gear you need. We can provide you with workwear and vouchers for essentials.

If you need transport or help navigating public transport, we’ll be by your side.

While you’re settling into your role, you’ll have a mentor who will check-in regularly and assist you with any questions, issues or communication with your new employer.
