Rona and Sean Challis are greatly involved in the Carnar-Fin fishing competition and so are many other Real Futures staff members.
This year there was an auction for one of the very first 1992 polo shirts which Sean Challis bid on as the money goes towards a local charity. Sean won the polo shirt for $600.00.
Rona won the biggest fish for her species but she also took out the whole championship by percentage of record fish. She was also the first woman to be named grand champion in the Carnar-Fin competition for the 30 years it has been running.
Rona took home over $4000.00 worth of prizes.
Sean and Rona’s boat Woody 1 also won the Carnarvon sea rescue prize for safety.
It was a great week fishing.
We are so proud of Rona on this great achievement.
