Tracey Saunders is a proud Kalkadoon woman that joined Women’s Business in April of this year.

Tracey has spent a lot of her journey raising three beautiful children, but was ready to look into her own goals now that they have all grown up.

Tracey joined the Hub to get help with updating her resume as she was seeking to find employment. She was initially invited to our “Life and Career Planning Course” where she was able to set up a training and support plan with the team.

The team has since assisted Tracy through conducting Service NSW career appointments and then helped with  refreshing her resume. Tracey has also connected with the Hub through attending well-being workshops and yarning circles to help uplift and encourage her mental well-being.

Since joining the Hub, Tracey has been placed into a few roles with the latest being at a Day Care Centre in Mount Druitt called Community Xchange.

The ladies at the Hub also assisted Tracey with enrolling into a Certificate III in Childcare. Due to personal circumstances Tracey had to stop work at this day care centre but has continued with her certificate as she is determined to get this completed.

Tracey has since reached out to the Hub to help her with employment, and we have placed her in the Wilson Security course which will lead her into full-time employment once this course has been completed. We are excited to walk with Tracey on this new adventure.
