Congratulations to Real Future’s Aspirant Jenayda, who has recently completed her Certificate II in Hospitality learning units and assessments!
Jenayda is part of our second cohort of Aspirants who are receiving on-the-job training at our café, Jardilunji Mia, in partnership with Regional TAFE and Gwoonwardu Mia. She is the first student in this group to have achieved her certificate.
This achievement is not just about a qualification. Our team has witnessed Jenayda grow her self-esteem and interpersonal skills. When she began, she was often shy and quiet around others but now she is engaged and confident with colleagues and customers alike.
Jenayda will continue to work in our café to gain more experience, before moving into employment with a local hospitality or tourism business in Geraldton.
Our Real Futures team will continue to support her to achieve her goals and career aspirations when she moves.
